Canadian Literature / Littérature canadienne

CANLIT-L@LISTSERV.LAC-BAC.GC.CA

CANLIT-L is a bilingual discussion group for anyone interested in Canadian literature, literary publishing or Canadian childrens' literature. CANLIT-L is a moderated list.
The purpose of the list is twofold. Better communication and connection among writers, publishers, professional associations, librarians and archivists, students, professors, and interested readers, should ensure lively discussion about particular works, writers, trends, literary theory, and the study and teaching of Canadian literature, among others. For the individual, questions about resources for the study of Canadian literature (for example, the location of a particular writer's papers), advice and opinion should encourage more effective research and better appreciation of Canada's literatures.
Participants are invited to post questions, comments, book reviews, concerns, ideas, information (eg locations of readings, lectures, new courses, new acquisitions of literary papers, etc.) and suggestions for making the listserv meet the needs of the Canadian literary community broadly defined.

Dear colleagues,

Liverpool University Press is delighted to announce that LUP Open Languages has successfully met its Subscribe to Open (S2O) target for 2026. This means that all thirteen journals in the initiative-including Québec Studies<https://www.liverpooluniversitypress.co.uk/journal/qs> -will publish their 2026 content open access.

As a result, 44 journal issues-365 research articles-will be freely available worldwide in 2026, opening up access to leading scholarship in modern languages, literatures and cultures.
This achievement highlights the strength of collaborative, community-led open access models and the role they play in amplifying the global reach of modern languages research.
